We are now looking for an eager sales professional that is going to represent us in Germany and the DACH region as a Country Sales Manager.  You will work at the intersection of Marketing & Sales and help us drive the growth by building the sales engine and team on the ground, and scale our sales efforts. This position is fully remote (however, we would love to see you in the Stockholm office from time to time) and requires you to be based in Germany.

As a Country Sales Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, you will be responsible for building the market, managing operations, ensure profitability and develop growth-hacks and strategies to get the word out about Mediatool. Your role will also include generating and converting both inbound and outbound leads and nurturing and developing the sales pipeline for the region and initiating strategic sales initiatives as well as high sales activity to consistently achieve set targets. You will collaborate with our Sales and Digital Marketing teams, based in Sweden, to build non-sales ready opportunities into sales qualified leads. You will be reporting to our VP of Sales.


So in summary this role is about:

  • Full sales cycle from lead to negotiations to securing a deal including pro-actively conduct outbound prospecting activities
  • Booking and conducting deeper qualification meetings
  • Working towards clear individual KPI’s and targets
  • Be part of a close nit internationally oriented sales-team
  • Actively participate and cooperate in activities coordinated with marketing
  • Use multi-channel prospecting tools such as phone calls, email and LinkedIn
  • Create customer relationships and cooperate with Customer Success to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Actively participate and cooperate in marketing activities


You have:

  • 5+ years sales experience in the B2B field within Marketing Services, AdTech or MarTech with a great network
  • A university degree
  • Documented experienced in selling to c-suite stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Capabilities to describe and understand customer requirements and make comprehensive demonstrations and presentations of our platform and the value it creates
  • Basic understanding of marketing fundamentals in order to comprehend and service our customers needs
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and patterns in sales data
  • An organised worker with excellent planning and execution skills

  • Someone that considers her- or himself a natural born hunter ready to start outbound activities. As this is a “hunter-role”, making phone calls will be a part of the daily activities, next to using all other sales channels such as LinkedIn
  • A natural go-getter with a passion to drive new sales
  • Highly energetic, sociable, outgoing and proactive
  • Ambitious and eager to grow with a fast-growing company
  • Accustomed to utilise CRM systems, LinkedIn and other prospecting tools
  • Independent and self-motivated person, eager to achieve results and with a drive to further grow sales
  • Is excellent in time management and organisational skills
  • An innovative doer on how to find and reach prospects
  • A smart, social media savvy and digitally responsive person
  • Able to have an active dialogue with other globally located  teams
